“What better way to create an audio experience than to hijack a visual one”

Idea

What if Spotify takes over AMC movie theaters and uses the preview time to engage audience in a cliffhanger audiobook experience

Execution

  • During the preview set, theater rooms are to go completely dark in order  to immerse the viewer  in an audio experience where an engaging snippet from a book plays providing all of the drama without the visual.

  • Listeners are prompted to Shazam the audio, use a QR code on screen, or Spotify code, to lead them to the said audiobook and the accompanying vast audiobook available library on Spotify.
